First Year Releases are not First Editions, but are additional editions & variants of the new casting in the same year as its debut 'First Edition' release.

Unless stated otherwise, items in this category will be of an un-opened, VGC, previously owned collector's item.  And thus are not brand new from the mattel pallet box, and may have some minor card damage or colour-fade (relative to its age).  The vehicle encased within will be untouched in un-opened packaging.  And item will be enclosed inside clamshell protector.

Look for additional comments against a specific item(s) regarding condition, damage or if without protector case.  If item is NOS, it will also be noted against the item.
